Abortion Patient and Payment Information

At Women’s Health Clinic, Inc. (AWHC), we want you to be fully informed and confident about the services and fees of our abortion clinic.

  • We are currently still scheduling appointments by phone only.
  • Please be aware that our call volume is very high and long wait times may be expected.
  • We have open availability weekly depending on what service is needed with an expected 3-4 hours in the office if all services are performed in one day. Please call directly for more information at 703-370-0550
  • We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
  • We also accept cash, money orders, and bank-issued cashier’s checks. Due to past collections issues, we are unable to accept personal or corporate checks.
  • Payment or insurance fees are due at the time of your services.
  • For records to be released, we will need a form of ID from the patient and a signature for authorization.
  • A fee of $40 will be charged to release any records to the patient only.

Insurance Accepted for Abortion Services Only

We accept Insurance for abortion services. If you are insured, please call us with your insurance information. We will call your insurance company on your behalf to appropriately verify your benefits. Within 48 hours, we will contact you to inform you of your co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance fees, if any. We accept most plans.

  • Insured patients, please call to find out your fees and your co-pay – if any.
  • Out-of-network plans will not be accepted.
  • Insurances accepted include PPO, HMO, POS, & OPEN ACCESS PLUS plans. (see list below)
  • Federal and Medicaid plans are not in network with AWHC.
